Is Kraig Biocraft Laboratories Worth Buying?

Kraig Labs is attempting to create polymers using spider silk gene sequences in silkworms. Spider Silk is stronger than steel and is biodegradable…these two facts are very strong variables that Kraig Biocraft Laboratories have going for them. If and this is a BIG IF they can pull this off it would be Major News and likely increase share price significantly. The stock price has been fluctuating greatly throughout the past year but lately has been on a downturn and is approaching it’s 52 week low. Shareholders are becoming restless due to lack of progression and the stock price not doing anything positive; add to this some Major Dilution, with lack of funding and financial problems. I give this company a 50/50 chance of surviving. Now if they can get their butts in gear and come up with a way to mass produce spider silk I think KBLB has some potential; some pretty good potential. As there are several possibilities to utilize spider silk; in my personal opinion they are far off from actually making any good cash for this.

There really is not a library of recent information that suggests a strong buy here for Kraig Labs.

As of March 2009 Kraig Labs has not been capable of paying their salaries and as of their filing for period ending March 09 the owe almost $400,000 just to salaries.
They owed $120,000 in royalty related to research. Kraig Labs also owes interest that is poorly defined to it's relativity of services or loans. They are constantly issuing high number of shares for .01 which is not a good sign for a company.

My point is that KBLB can't keep doing business this way for much longer...so they need a product or service to market. I haven't heard any NEW News on the progression of their silks, how they plan on marketing, and if they can even survive another year without a product or service to provide a viable source of income. KBLB said "we will consider buying an established revenue producing company with stock or cash“--yeah right. Either way it is not a good outlook right now for stockholders---due to a possibility of Equity Financing and or More Stock Issuing.

Joe Noel says that he believes that KBLB’s common shares will realize several thousand percent gains, yes in my interpretation that is 3,000% gains. If this comes to realization in the year 2010, I will run across Husker field completely Naked prior to a game! (As I go to Husker football games.) I am all for buying low and selling high, but do I see this being a .30 cent stock in 2010? Absolutely not! It would take some super promoters jumping on board and I don’t even think Great News would move this, I think they need revenues. It is time for KBLB to begin making money instead of wasting shareholders hard invested money.

Now is it worth the gamble of spending a hundred bucks or so for 10,000 shares? Well, that is about all I would gamble on this one and I do mean gamble. Joe Noel has been right on a lot of picks but this one I believe he just copied and pasted someone else’s writing because there currently is not enough information right now to make a Stock Worthy decision. When you have too little information or too much information you get confusion….so confusion is my conclusion on this one.
